Respect is Earned: It’s not a benefit of the presidency

Respect is Earned: It’s not a benefit of the presidency http://commonsenseinaradicalage.blogspot.com/2012/06/respect-is-earned-its-not-benefit-of.html http://commonsenseinaradicalage.blogspot.com/  Sat, 16 Jun 2012 03:54:00 GMT

You demand respect for an office to which you have shown no respect. You demand respect of people whom you have sorely disrespected, and you have embarrassed those people through your callous actions. You have apologized for the noble actions of people whose intent was to aid those in harm’s way and yet, you still act as though it is your right to demand? One could ask a simple question, “Are you capable of adult responsibilities and mature decisions?”

In 2008, you were gifted through the vote of a majority—notwithstanding vote tampering and corruption—of people to be the leader of the greatest nation in the world, and you have spat on that nation, its laws, and the people. Your actions today, were those of a maniacal dictator and not the respectable leader of a free country. You are despicable at best and dangerous at worst. Your arrogance and flaunting of our laws with its limited power to the presidency are an affront to the people and the forefathers who founded this country to rid themselves of treachery and tyranny. You are not only a pathetic leader—less than a leader—but a sinister force in this nation.

As of the last census, there were approximately 50-million illegal aliens—people who have broken the law by coming into this country without invitation or eligibility. Of those 50-million, it is estimated that approximately half have children. You have now saddled the people of the United States with the burden of supporting the children included in that  25-million estimate. They are here illegally, and you have illegally taken steps to make us pay for their food, homes, bills, medical, schooling, and college educations. How dare you, you arrogant imposter?

You are a servant of the people. You are not Commander-in-Chief, as you have chosen to act as dictator…therefore; you have made yourself ineligible to continue in the office of President of the United States. One can only hope that there are men of dignity and honor in the houses of Congress who will finally put an end to your reign of tyranny. If not, then the people will have to act in the stead of this nation and do their duty. Never count the American people out. We have something you could never hope to possess. We have honor, dignity, and humility, and above all else, we have a good and gracious God who protects of from the vile works of evil.

You are wrong. There will be arguments presented, and you will lose. We are not an ignorant lot of infidels, as you have assumed, and we will fight for our country. You, your arrogance, and your hatefulness make those with any morals, whatsoever, sick to their stomachs. How can you even hope to win another term in an office, for which, you were never suited or capable of holding? Your lack of patriotism and not your race is the issue. You’re incapable of serving this nation. Your sanity is in question, but your loyalty is not. You have no loyalty to this country or her people, and you prove that with every speech you give and every law you break.

Articles: Obama Lurching Toward Tyranny

As reported at The Daily Caller, in one of President Obama's campaign speeches this week he said that "Republicans are 'in favor of a no-holds barred, government is the enemy, market is everything approach.'"

This comes from the man who in a speech to Latinos once referred to Republicans as "the enemy."

Constitutional conservatives, who decry big government more than establishment Republicans, consider tyranny as the enemy. Government that increasingly violates the Constitution under Republicans or Democrats is, in measure, increasingly tyrannical.

Obama's government is the biggest violator of law in our history. His very methods of governing, which include bypassing Congress's constitutional authority to make law, actually show contempt for the Constitution and the American rule of law.

By executive orders, Mr. Obama both violates the law against his own American-citizen "enemies," such as Catholic institutions when it comes to abortion and birth control, and grants unlawful privileges for his supporters or potential supporters, such as his immigration amnesty order this week.

HHS Secretary Janet Napolitano called the latter not amnesty but...

38 reasons why Obama should not be re-elected

Editor’s note: The following column is a work of collaboration by me and some friends of mine – some of whom feared retribution for speaking so plainly.

Looking back over the past four years, read this to better understand where we are going as a country under the leadership of Barack Obama.

  • WHEN he refused to disclose who donated money to his election campaign, as other candidates had done, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he received endorsements from people like Louis Farrakhan, Moammar Gadhafi and Hugo Chavez, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN it was pointed out that he was a total newcomer and had absolutely no experience at anything except community organizing, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he chose friends and acquaintances such as Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn who were revolutionary radicals, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN his voting record in the Illinois Senate and in the U.S. Senate came into question, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he refused to wear a flag lapel pin and did so only after a public outcry, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN people started treating him as a Messiah and children in schools were taught to sing his praises, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he stood with his hands over his groin area for the playing of the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he surrounded himself in the White House with advisers who were pro-gun control, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage and wanting to curtail freedom of speech to silence the opposition, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he said he favors sex education in kindergarten, including homosexual indoctrination, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN his personal background was either scrubbed or hidden and nothing could be found about him, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN the place of his birth was called into question, and he refused to produce a birth certificate, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he had an association in Chicago with Tony Rezko – a man of questionable character and who is now in prison and had helped Obama to a sweet deal on the purchase of his home – people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN it became known that George Soros, a multi-billionaire globalist, spent a ton of money to get him elected, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he started appointing White House czars that were radicals, revolutionaries and even avowed Marxist/Communists, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he stood before the nation and told us that his intentions were to “fundamentally transform this nation” into something else, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN it became known that he had trained ACORN workers in Chicago and served as an attorney for ACORN, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he appointed Cabinet members and several advisers who were tax cheats and socialists, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he appointed a science czar, John Holdren, who believes in forced abortions, mass sterilizations and seizing babies from teen mothers, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he appointed Cass Sunstein as regulatory czar, who believes in “explicit consent,” harvesting human organs without family consent and allowing animals to be represented in court, while banning all hunting, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he appointed Kevin Jennings, a homosexual and organizer of a group called Gay, Lesbian, Straight, Education Network as safe schools czar and it became known that he had a history of bad advice to teenagers, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he appointed Mark Lloyd as diversity czar, who believes in curtailing free speech, taking from one and giving to another to spread the wealth and who supports Hugo Chavez, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN Valerie Jarrett, an avowed socialist, was selected as Obama’s senior White House adviser, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN Anita Dunn, White House communications director, said Mao Zedong was her favorite philosopher and the person she turned to most for inspiration, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he appointed Carol Browner, a well-known socialist as global warming czar working on cap-and-trade as the nation’s largest tax, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he appointed Van Jones, an ex-con and avowed socialist, as green energy czar who was forced to resign, people said it didn’t matter.

  • WHEN he took a huge spending bill under the guise of stimulus and used it to pay off organizations, unions and individuals that got him elected, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he took over insurance companies, car companies, banks, etc., people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he took away student loans from the banks and required they go through the government, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he designed plans to take over the health-care system and put it under government control, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he set into motion a plan to take over the control of all energy in the United States through cap-and-trade, people said it didn’t matter.
  • WHEN he finally completed his transformation of America into a socialist state, people began to wake up – but it was too late.
The last paragraph alone is not yet cast in stone. You and I will write that paragraph.

Immigration policy shows Barack Obama is in 'full panic mode,' Rush Limbaugh says - POLITICO.com

Rush Limbaugh on Friday said the Obama administration’s new immigration policy is proof that the president is in “full panic mode” about the upcoming election.

“The regime today told the border agents: ‘If you catch young illegals, let ‘em go and grant ‘em work permits.’ No more deportation of illegal immigrants. They are to be given work permits and they can stay in the country,” Limbaugh said, according to a transcript of his show. “So what this is, is ‘Catch, Release, Vote.’”

'Obama violating Constitution and oath of office'

'Obama violating Constitution and oath of office' http://www.wnd.com/2012/06/obama-violating-constitution-and-oath-of-office/ http://www.wnd.com  Sat, 16 Jun 2012 00:23:28 GMT

President Obama triggered a political and legal firestorm on Friday when he ordered a rule change through the Department of Homeland Security that allows young illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S. and legally obtain work
permits. The policy was one the major components of the DREAM Act, which failed to clear Congress even under Democrat control.

The easing of the rule is aimed at illegals who were brought to the U.S. before they turned 16 years old and are currently younger than 30.  The president says it’s unfair to to punish those young people for decisions their parents made and those young adults are already contributing to society.

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa,  isn’t buying any of that. The Republican lawmaker is a member of the House Judiciary Committee and says the greatest outrage in this move is Obama’s ignoring of the Constitution. King says the president
can’t just create new laws through executive orders because he’s frustrated that his agenda can’t get through Congress.

“This man has refused to enforce immigration law, and now he issues an executive order that essentially institutes an amnesty program by executive order and I think this needs to go to the courtroom and I’m prepared to go there,” King told WND.

King adds that he’s ready to take the president to court for acting in a manner that is clearly reserved for the legislative branch. He has experience in this type of legal fight.

As an Iowa state senator, King successfully sued then-Gov. Tom Vilsack over what King sees as the same type of executive branch power grab.

“What the president is doing is ordering that his executive branch carry out a policy that is in direct violation of constitutionally and congressionally passed federal law,” said King.

The congressman says he isn’t concerned that what the president did may be similar to a reform plan being assembled by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio because the legislative process is where these things need to be hashed out.

King says he will press the legal challenge to the president’s move regardless of what GOP leaders do.

Spending money, like Barack Obama - Tea Party Nation

No one spends money like Barack Obama.  He does not care what the tax payers think or even what happens to them.

He has just done it again.

What has he done?

He has gone off fundraising again, sticking the taxpayers with the tab.

In other words, we the people are paying for the privilege of this clown running for reelection.

How is that happening?

Yesterday Barack Obama went to two star studded fundraisers in New York.  Ordinarily if the President goes to a strictly political event, the campaign is on the hook for at least some of the costs of the trip.

But surprise, Obama threw in an amazingly brief trip to the World Trade Center site and suddenly it is an official trip and the taxpayers are stuck with the tab.

Would it be snide to mention yesterday was Flag Day and remind everyone of Michelle Obama’s “All of this for a flag,” comment at the 9/11 ten year anniversary ceremony?

The Course | The Muslim Brotherhood in America

By allowing our attention to be focused exclusively on the danger and prevention of terrorism, we ignore the many other ways we are being attacked.  Specifically, we are missing what our Islamist enemies call their ‘civilization jihad’ — a form of warfare that employs manipulative financial techniques, lawfare, infiltration of our civil institutions and government and insidious information dominance.  Together, these have the effect of exploiting our liberties and governing structures against us, so that our leaders wind up imposing the very anti-American values that our enemies promote.

Welcome to The Muslim Brotherhood in America: The Enemy Within — a 10-part, web-based video briefing that is designed to explain why and how this is happening.

It addresses a threat most Americans are unaware even exists within our country, let alone the degree of peril it represents.

The threat is the totalitarian, supremacist Islamic doctrine its adherents call “shariah” and the organized, disciplined and increasingly successful efforts by such adherents– most especially the Muslim Brotherhood– to bring it here.

We are making this course available in the hope of encouraging, informing and broadening support for national efforts to defeat the insinuation into this country of shariah’s anti-constitutional and seditious program.

The Course | The Muslim Brotherhood in America

The Muslim Brotherhood in America | A Course in 10 Parts Presented by Frank Gaffney

This is an Absolute MUST SEE!

Have you ever asked yourself why, despite more than ten years of efforts –involving, among other things, the loss of thousands of lives in wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, well-over a trillion dollars spent, countless man-years wasted waiting in airport security lines and endless efforts to ensure that no offense is given to seemingly permanently aggrieved Muslim activists – are we no closer to victory in the so-called “war on terror” than we were on 9/11?

Thankfully, we have been able to kill some dangerous bad guys. The sad truth of the matter is that, by almost any other measure, the prospect of victory is becoming more remote by the day. And no one seems able to explain the reason.

In an effort to provide the missing answer, on April 24, the Center for Security Policy is making available via the Internet a new, free ten-part video course called “The Muslim Brotherhood in America: The Enemy Within.” This course connects the proverbial dots, drawing on a wealth of publicly available data and first-hand accounts to present a picture that has, for over a decade, been obscured, denied and suppressed:

America faces in addition to the threat of violent jihad another, even more toxic danger – a stealthy and pre-violent form of warfare aimed at destroying our constitutional form of democratic government and free society. The Muslim Brotherhood is the prime-mover behind this seditious campaign, which it calls “civilization jihad.”

Obama brags about treading water

Obama brags about treading water http://www.wnd.com/2012/06/obama-brags-about-treading-water/ http://www.wnd.com  Thu, 14 Jun 2012 00:26:33 GMT

After President Barack Obama said, “The private sector is doing fine,” he later quickly regrouped. “The economy is not doing fine (emphasis added). That’s the reason I had the press conference.” But Obama said he was particularly concerned about losses in the public sector. The cluelessness is absolutely stunning. Obama is wrong about both the private and public sector.

Obama’s assessment of the economy reminds many of 2008 Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s characterization of the economy. In September 2008, the investment firm Lehman Brothers was collapsing. Wall Street was shaking as the yet-to-be-declared recession deepened, but McCain said: “I think, still, the fundamentals of our economy are strong. But these are very, very difficult times.”

The reaction to McCain was harsh. His opponent, then-Sen. Obama, pounced: “We just woke up to news of financial disaster, and this morning he said that the fundamentals of the economy are still strong? Sen. McCain, what economy are you talking about?”

The Washington Post said: “Sen. Barack Obama seized on McCain’s assessment of the health of the economy, blasting the Republican for being ‘disturbingly out of touch’ with the reality that everyday Americans face. ‘I just think he doesn’t know,’ Obama said in Grand Junction, Colo. ‘He doesn’t get what’s happening between the mountain in Sedona where he lives and the corridors of Washington where he works.’”

Let’s look at the facts.

In McCain’s case, unemployment at the time was 6.1 percent and rising. The economy was experiencing “negative growth.” But in Obama’s case, he correctly states we are in recovery. “The truth of the matter is,” said the president, “we have created 4.3 million jobs over the last 27 months.”

To paraphrase my grandfather, “Is Obama bragging or complaining?”

Last month, the economy produced a pathetic 69,000 jobs. The National Bureau of Economic Analysis revised last quarter’s gross domestic product growth downward to a paltry 1.9 percent.

Economist John Lott points out: “Thirty-six months into the recovery and the private sector hasn’t even made up half the jobs lost during the recession, let alone make up for the fact that there are about 7.6 million more working age people than when the recession started. What about the 4.2 million that were lost between when Obama became president and February 2010? The ‘growth’ just replaces what was lost during the first part of his administration. Let alone the 8.8 million private-sector jobs that were lost between when the recession started.”

Do the math.

It takes 150,000 new jobs per month just to keep pace with population growth, those coming into the market from high school and college. Obama’s 4.3 million jobs divided by 27 months comes to an average of about 159,000 jobs over that stretch. That is treading water, not even close to the number it takes to make a dent in the 8.2 percent unemployment.

What about the supposedly suffering public sector?

According to Investors.com: “Private-sector jobs are still down by 4.6 million, or 4 percent, from January 2008, when overall employment peaked. Meanwhile, government jobs are down just 407,000, or 1.8 percent. Federal employment actually is 225,000 jobs above its January 2008 level, an 11.4 percent increase. That’s right, up 11.4 percent. … The recession was boomtime for federal employment, especially after Obama took office. Federal jobs kept rising (excluding a temporary Census surge in early 2010) until March 2011 – more than three years after overall payrolls peaked.”

Economist Lott also says the federal public sector is holding up particularly well: “The only group of workers ‘doing just fine’ is federal government employees, where employment has increased by 4 percent since the start of the recession. In sharp contrast, both private-sector and state and local-government employment have fallen, with the private sector in the worst shape. Private-sector employment is down by 4 percent and state and local government down by half that – 2 percent. Between 2007 and 2010, annual wages also grew 40 percent faster for state and local-government workers than for those in the private sector.”

Our latest recession lasted 18 months, ending 36 months ago, in June 2009. Look at the recovery from the deep recession of the early ’80s. At this point during the recovery from that 16-month recession, which began in July 1981 and ended in November 1982, the economy had produced an 8.9 percent increase in civilian employment – almost 9 million jobs. Real GDP growth averaged over 5 percent in the first three years of the Reagan recovery, compared to an average of 2.4 percent three years into the Obama recovery.

Historically, the deeper the recession, the sharper the bounce-back.

The numbers in the early ’80s were grim: a peak 10.8 percent unemployment, 13.5 percent average inflation, prime interest rates at 20.5 percent. But driven by Reagan’s policies of lower taxes, slowing the rate of domestic spending and less regulation, the economy staged a ferocious comeback.

Reagan distrusted government and sought to restrain its growth. Obama, the former community organizer, believes government creates jobs and that “social justice” empowers him to redistribute wealth – according to those he deems worthy.

Obama trade document leaked

Obama trade document leaked http://www.wnd.com/2012/06/obama-trade-document-leaked/ http://www.wnd.com  Wed, 13 Jun 2012 23:58:09 GMT

(HUFFINGTON POST) — A critical document from President Barack Obama’s free trade negotiations with eight Pacific nations was leaked online early Wednesday morning, revealing that the administration intends to bestow radical new political powers upon multinational corporations, contradicting prior promises.

The leaked document has been posted on the website of Public Citizen, a long-time critic of the administration’s trade objectives. The new leak follows substantial controversy surrounding the secrecy of the talks, in which some members of Congress have complained they are not being given the same access to trade documents that corporate officials receive.

“The outrageous stuff in this leaked text may well be why U.S. trade officials have been so extremely secretive about these past two years of [trade] negotiations,” said Lori Wallach, director of Public Citizen’s Global Trade Watch in a written statement.

Obama's public-sector full employment plan

Obama's public-sector full employment plan http://www.wnd.com/2012/06/obamas-public-sector-full-employment-plan/ http://www.wnd.com Wed, 13 Jun 2012 20:34:56 GMT

Last week, President Obama said “the private sector is doing fine.” This was not reassuring to those of us who suspect the Democrats haven’t the first idea what “private sector” means.

He did not help matters by becoming lachrymose over the suffering of public-sector employees: “Where we’re seeing weaknesses in our economy have to do with state and local government. … And so, if Republicans want to be helpful, if they really want to move forward and put people back to work, what they should be thinking about is, how do we help state and local governments. …”

When Democrats say the public sector is suffering, they mean public-sector employees have half the unemployment rate of the rest of the country – 4.2 percent compared to 8.2 percent.

Obama’s monumentally idiotic statement has led his media defenders to recycle Mitt Romney’s alleged “gaffe” from several months ago, when he said: “I like being able to fire people who provide services to me.”

But that was not a gaffe at all – except as deceptively edited by the media to end after the word “people.” (Only Donald Trump enjoys firing people, and by the way, people love watching Donald Trump fire people.)

Far from a gaffe, Romney’s actual sentence is the key to understanding the nation’s health-care crisis – which happens to be exactly what he was talking about.

Nearly every product you can think of has gotten better and cheaper in the last 20 years because of market competition: cell phones, television sets, computers, food delivery, airline tickets (constrained by the cost of fuel), express mail, and on and on.

There aren’t a lot of restaurants serving lousy food or dog walkers who lose your dog, because they’d go out of business pretty fast if they provided rotten services. They’re not the only game in town.

But you know what is the only game in town? The government. Only with the government do we continuously get worse service for a higher price.

Take away the ability to fire people, and you have airport security, public schools, Veterans Administration hospitals, the Postal Service, General Motors and Pinch Sulzberger, the New York Times’ family scion.

Health insurers may technically be private companies, but they are required by law to cover a slew of services, making them an extension of monopolistic government. (Similarly, the old AT&T was a “private” company, but in reality it was just a government-run monopolistic phone company providing no choice, poor service, little innovation and obscenely high prices.)

In most states, you can’t choose a health insurance plan that doesn’t cover gambling and sex addictions, psychological counseling, speech therapy and prenatal care – even if you plan on never having children.

Health insurance companies don’t need to compete for your business – they’re all offering the same product, anyway. Moreover, because of government regulation concerning how health insurance is taxed, most people aren’t choosing their insurers. Their employers are.

As a result, insurance companies have become outrageously unresponsive to both patients and doctors. Insurance companies need only concern themselves with satisfying government regulators and corporate purchasers. Meanwhile, doctors have to please only the insurance companies, which don’t particularly care how patients are treated, as long as it’s cheap.

This is a third-party-payer problem, or as the proverb goes, “He who pays the piper calls the tune.” All third-party-payer systems are disasters. The customer is trapped, forced to pay for something he doesn’t want, with no one to complain to and no possibility of taking his business elsewhere.

An example frequent travelers will recognize are the online discount hotel brokers. These can be great – unless you arrive at a hotel and there’s no WiFi, or there’s massive construction going on, or your room isn’t available until four hours after check-in time. But you’ve already paid the full price to the booking company.

If you had paid for the room yourself, you could walk away and find another hotel. (Even if you used a credit card, you can reverse the charges because, again, credit card companies would go out of business if they didn’t refuse payment for scams.) But if you booked through a third party, the hotel tells you, “Sorry, take it up with Expedia.”

Ironically, Romney is proposing that all Americans have the same ability he has to hire and fire insurance companies and doctors. The rich already can do this. Why can’t the rest of us? We hire – and fire – our own appliance stores, pet groomers, restaurants, hairdressers and computer companies. Why not health providers?

And why are the media so desperate to avoid that conversation?

We need a free market in health insurance, which Congress could accomplish with a one-page bill stating, “There shall be interstate commerce in health insurance.” Once we were allowed to purchase health insurance across states lines – prohibited by law today – everyone would be buying insurance from companies based in states such as Utah, which have the fewest mandates about what health insurers must cover.

Insurance companies would be responsive to us, the people buying their services, and not the government or corporations. Most people would choose to buy insurance only for what insurance is intended for – catastrophes – while paying for regular checkups themselves, the same way we pay for our own cell phones, computers, baby sitters, manicures and everything else that’s been getting better and cheaper, unlike all government-regulated services.

Doctors would then have to be responsive to us, not to our insurance companies. Nothing improves the quality of a service like being able to fire the people providing it. The media don’t want you to think about that, so they edit Romney’s remark and call it a “gaffe.”

For better service right now, for example, the American people need to fire Barack Obama and hire Mitt Romney.

Media scorched for pathetic Obama coverage

Media scorched for pathetic Obama coverage http://www.wnd.com/2012/06/media-scorched-for-pathetic-obama-coverage/ http://www.wnd.com  Wed, 13 Jun 2012 21:06:11 GMT

Radio giant Rush Limbaugh is scorching the national media for their lack of coverage of problems in America directly tied to Barack Obama and his administration.

“The media doesn’t report this stuff and they think as a result nobody knows about it,” Limbaugh said today on his top-rated program.

“They continue to live in a state of denial, that there is an alternative media that is just as penetrating. They can pretend that by not covering a story, the story doesn’t happen. They can pretend by not covering a story, or not condemning an action, that nobody hears about it.”

Limbaugh said President Richard Nixon was hounded out of office 40 years ago “for a second-rate burglary that even to this day nobody can figure out.”

“We have got Watergate-type scandals in three different spots in this administration, and what’s the media writing about? Forty-year-old Watergate,” he said.

“For crying out loud, we have a regime which ignores federal judges on drilling moratoriums. We have a regime that is running an open money-laundering operation with union dues. We have an administration that is knowingly bankrolling losing industries, crony capitalism out the wazoo. Whatever Nixon did, it pales in comparison.”

He also noted the Justice Department declining to prosecute the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia “as was said because we’re not going after black defendants,” the president’s lawsuit against Arizona to stop the state from enforcing laws that protect their citizens, and the Fast and Furious gunrunning operation.

“For crying out loud, nobody died in Watergate! A federal agent died in Fast and Furious,” Limbaugh said. “We had [Attorney General Eric] Holder taunting members of the Senate yesterday: ‘I’m gonna stick to my guns.’”

Limbaugh says there have been several recent reports by journalists who say Democrats are coming to the sudden realization Obama’s re-election in November is not a lock.

“Make no mistake about it: Democrats are panicking,” Limbaugh said. “They’re all writing stories now that Democrats are waking up in the morning now and for the first time confronting the real possibility – in fact, some are even calling it a likelihood – that Obama could lose. And they’re contemplating this for the first time.”

While some headlines have said that Obama has experienced a “bad week,” Limbaugh preferred to look at events through a different prism.

“It has been not just a bad week, it has been a bad three-and-a-half years – not for Obama, but for us. Every week is a bad week for America, with Barack Hussein Kardashian in the White House,” he explained, referring to Obama’s jet-setting lifestyle reminiscent of the celebrity Kardashian family.

“On his worst week, President Kardashian has had it better than the richest man on the planet in recorded and unrecorded history,” he said.

“I’m growing weary hearing about Barack Obama having a bad week. The people who make this country work are suffering every day he’s in office. And we have to hear about a bad week that Obama had? Really, it is so out of proportion. It’s insulting.

“You know, the scary thing to contemplate is, what would a good week for Obama be? What would it take for the media to report that he had a good week? Let that scare you, because it should. A bad week for Obama is having to sit next to a movie star that he doesn’t particularly like.”

Sorry, We’re not buying the Bush Excuse

Sorry, We’re not buying the Bush Excuse http://commonsenseinaradicalage.blogspot.com/2012/06/sorry-were-not-buying-bush-excuse.html http://commonsenseinaradicalage.blogspot.com/  Wed, 13 Jun 2012 18:07:00 GMT

You cannot blame Bush for Solyndra or the economy, simply because it sounds so much better, than “I, the most arrogant poc to ever enter the White House (and, there have been some real stinkers before you), have created an economy that would make dogs howl.” It’s not that simple. Worse than that, Obama—you pathetic loser—it’s a lie. Here’s the deal. You set out to “fundamentally change America,” in short, destroy her, and you’ve damn near accomplished your purpose. We’ve listened to you whine. We’ve heard you lie, and now; you're grasping at straws. You’re done. It’s over. The country you chose to change has more backbone and more ethics than you will ever know, and you’ve lost through simpering, whining, and lying.

George Bush started the bank bailouts, not the automobile industry bailouts, not the stimulus for shovel ready projects that were, by no man’s calculation save your own, shovel ready. He didn't transform health care into a Nanny state dream that no nation could support, monetarily. He didn’t stop the drilling of oil, but left behind policies making it possible for you take credit for the amount of oil being drilled today. He didn’t react to Katrina for two days. You didn’t react to the BP oil rig disaster for 45 days. He didn’t promise to pay for low-income folk’s gas, rent, mortgage, or groceries. You did, and you didn’t deliver because you cannot deliver without taking money from someone else’ pocket.

He didn’t promise to redistribute other people’s income. You did, and what most of us would like to know is, “Who the hell died and made you a god that can decide who gets to keep their income and who has to forfeit to accomplish your goals?”

The Main-Stream Media—not to be mistaken with legitimate news agencies—has declared your foreign policy “The Best that ever Was!” Yes, thanks a lot you stupid jerk, now the whole world knows we have a wimp in the oval office that is willing to bow down to thugs and hoods overseas. You’ve claimed—all by yourself to hear you tell it—that you killed a man who died in Tora Bora in 2002 from kidney failure…who you had those men kill, is beyond most of us; however, no blame goes to them. They were simply following orders. Yesterday, another one of your “sure kills” rose from the dead. Are we surprised? Not in the least.

Today, you believe that the American people have a short attention span, and that we will forget what you’ve done to our beautiful nation, but don’t count on it!! Your arrogance has you insisting that you be given the respect due to a president, but you have not earned it. The only thing you’ve truly earned is a one-way ticket home…and most of us, to this day, are really not sure where that home is, because you were given a free pass and have never had to prove anything.

We hear all the cries of “racism," and it falls on deaf ears. One, you’re half white, and two, your policies and not your skin color are what we abhor. Racism has nothing to do with what is wrong with this nation. Our country has been, and will be, the only country in the world that won’t judge a man’s actions by his color but simply by what he has chosen to do. Your actions speak volumes, while your words are hollow and without meaning. Your lies are another thing. Those may seal your fate, yet.

Obama losing favor with African American voters | The Daily Caller

A new poll reveals that President Barack Obama is losing favor with African-American voters in North Carolina.

76 percent of black voters favor him now, compared to the 87 percent who did in May. Twenty percent of black voters side with presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
According to the poll, released by Public Policy Polling, Obama’s approval rating with African-Americans has been sliding, and some believe the decrease stems from the president’s recent backing of same-sex marriage, the Wall Street Journal reported.

The president’s national approval rating among African-American voters has been decreasing, dropping from... Read more: Obama losing favor with African American voters | The Daily Caller

NoisyRoom.net » Blog Archive » Communist Defector Speaks Out on America’s Marxist Future

A top communist defector is warning of an unprecedented “alliance” between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party, reflected in the CPUSA’s endorsement of Barack Obama for president in 2008 and the party’s continued support for Democratic Party policies. But is this warning going to be too hot to handle for the media? And the Republicans?

Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa, the highest-ranking official ever to have defected from the former Soviet bloc, says in an article for PJMedia that any doubt that the Democratic and the Communist parties had secretly joined forces was erased in 2009, “when Van Jones, part of a left fringe of declared communists, became the White House’s green jobs czar.”

Obama aide Valerie Jarrett had disclosed at a left-wing bloggers convention that “we,” apparently referring to herself and President Obama, had hired Jones for the job. However, Jones was fired when an outcry developed over his communist background, and the media quickly dropped any probes into Jones’ White House contacts.

Pacepa, who served as a top aide in the Romanian communist regime, tells Accuracy in Media, “The Democratic Party has become dangerously infected with the Marxism virus. I recognize the symptoms because I once lived through them, and I believe it is my obligation as an American citizen to help the conservative movement to prevent any further spread of Marxism in my adopted country.”

He adds that he is personally convinced that Obama is a Marxist.

WashPost Front-Pager on Collapsing Net Worth Missing One Word: 'Obama'

WashPost Front-Pager on Collapsing Net Worth Missing One Word: 'Obama' http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matt-vespa/2012/06/12/headline-washpost-front-pager-collapsing-net-worth-missing-one-word-obam http://newsbusters.org/  Tue, 12 Jun 2012 22:07:39 GMT

A new economic report from the Federal Reserve doesn't offer much hope. On the front page of The Washington Post,  Ylan Q. Mui underlined "the Federal Reserve said the median net worth of families plunged by 39 percent in just three years, from $126,400 in 2007 to $77,300 in 2010. That puts Americans roughly on par with where they were in 1992."

Furthermore, "the data represent[s] one of the most detailed looks at how the economic downturn altered the landscape of family finance. Over a span of three years, Americans watched progress that took almost a generation to accumulate evaporate. The promise of retirement built on the inevitable rise of the stock market proved illusory for most. Homeownership, once heralded as a pathway to wealth, became an albatross."  What's more interesting is that Mui's article doesn't mention Obama once  -- in a front page piece during an election year -- right after he told reporters the private sector is "doing fine."

Mui quotes Mark Zandi, economist for Moody's, saying “It’s hard to overstate how serious the collapse in the economy was...we were in free fall.” However, some have taken this to be another indictment of Bush administration policies.

Steve Kornacki at Salon.com noted that despite this terrible news, Obama may still succeed at blaming Bush. He cites an Obama 50% approval rating andin  "an upcoming book, political scientists John Sides and Lynn Vavreck used data stretching back 60 years to create a model that predicts presidential approval based on economic conditions. As of the end of 2011, Obama was racking up scores significantly better than the model suggested he should be."

Furthermore, "Sides and Vavreck suggest that, among other things, Obama may be benefitting from the public’s lingering memory of George W. Bush’s presidency and, more specifically, the imploding economy he passed off to Obama in January 2009. The new Fed figures may support this idea, in that they illustrate how steep, and pervasive and enduring the decline in family income has been since the final year of Bush’s tenure."

After four years, a failed stimulus, high unemployment, three consecutive trillion dollar deficits, and an unconstitutional trillion dollar new health care entitlement program, it's still somehow Bush' s fault.

This default setting liberals have displaying their animosity towards Bush is both amusing and painfully insufferable.  When will they criticize the president for failing to take responsibility on the economy?

Kornacki states that "Obama won’t be able to run a Morning in America campaign, but he’s counting on context winning out, with a crucial chunk of voters remembering what he inherited (and, perhaps, understanding the obstruction he’s faced from Republicans in Congress) and giving him the benefit of the doubt, even if they’re not enthusiastic about it. For now, his poll numbers suggest Obama might actually pull this off. But the election is still five months away, and it’s an open question whether his support can withstand more discouraging unemployment reports and all of the Republican attacks to come."

NY Times, CBS Bury Own Poll on ObamaCare; Times Plays Up Declining Prestige of SCOTUS

NY Times, CBS Bury Own Poll on ObamaCare; Times Plays Up Declining Prestige of SCOTUS http://newsbusters.org/blogs/matt-vespa/2012/06/11/ny-times-cbs-bury-own-poll-obamacare-times-plays-declining-prestige-scot http://newsbusters.org/  Mon, 11 Jun 2012 21:23:27 GMT

With the president's signature "achievement" on life support, The New York Times decided to bury the story in the Friday front-page article "Approval Rating for Justice Hits Just 44% in New Poll." Times reporters Adam Liptak and Allison Kopicki attacked the most prestigious institution in the country, claiming "the public is skeptical about life tenure for the justices, with 60 percent agreeing with the statement that appointing Supreme Court justices for life is a bad thing because it gives them too much power. One-third agreed with a contrary statement, that life tenure for justices “is a good thing because it helps keep them independent from political pressures.”

While the Times seems to insist the court is losing public prestige, it doesn't want to report on how ObamaCare is still a flop with the public. They save this for paragraph 16:  "41 percent of Americans want the Supreme Court to overturn the entire health care law passed in 2010, while another 27 percent want the court to throw out the part of the law that requires most people to buy coverage. The poll, conducted by the New York Times and CBS News, reveals that more respondents disapprove of the law than approve, 48 percent to 34 percent."

Moreover, " that marks only a one-percentage-point uptick in those who disapprove of the law since the last poll was conducted, in mid-April, but a five-percentage-point drop in those who approve."The coup de grace is "the percentage of people saying they want the court to throw out the entire law rose four points, from 37 percent to 41 percent, since the last CBS News/New York Times poll was conducted. About a quarter in the new poll—24 percent—said they want the whole law upheld.

How is this possible?  Well, as George Will stated on This Week two years ago, 85% of Americans already had coverage.  Furthermore 95% of that 85% said that they were satisfied with their health care coverage.  Even Politifact said that was mostly true!  In addition, we've had an unemployment rate that has been above 8% for over thirty-eight months.  During twenty-six of those months, the rate was above 9%.  This is after a $830 billion dollar stimulus with interest rates at zero.  Factor in a trillion dollar new entitlement, Obamacare, and we have a recipe for economic anxiety.

PS: At least the New York Times published their polling numbers in connection with a front-page story. CBS buried the poll results, reporting them only on Friday's early-early CBS Morning News:
HAZEL SANCHEZ, anchor: And later this month, the Supreme Court is expected to rule on President Obama`s health care overhaul. The law has become a key campaign issue. A just released CBS News/New York Times poll finds forty-one percent of Americans want to see the entire health care law overturned. Fifty-five percent believe Justices will decide the case based on personal or political views. And concerning Arizona`s tough immigration law that allows police to check the immigration status of anyone who is lawfully stopped, fifty-two percent believe the law is "about right."

The U.S. economy is slouching toward the most heavily predicted economic crisis in history. Every reputable economic forecaster has issued a warning of the approaching storm. The only person who seems unconcerned is the leader of the free world.

Archived-Articles: The Mendacity of Barack Obama

Over my 45+ years in the business community, both domestic and international, I have dealt with an overwhelming variety of people of all races and political philosophies.  Men and women who were thoroughly honest and many who had no concept of honor and integrity.  Among them were those who would do or say anything to achieve their ends and do so with a straight face and an air of self-confidence that would deceive the most gullible.  It is only through painful experience that one is finally able to develop an antenna to quickly weed out those charlatans.
While I have always been wary of and have written about his dishonesty, after the speech the president delivered the 13th of April regarding the federal budget, one that was chock full of lies, deceit, and crass fear-mongering, it must be said that Barack Obama is the most dishonest, deceitful, and mendacious person in a position of power I have ever witnessed.

That performance was the culmination of four years of outright lies and narcissism that have been largely ignored by the media, including some in the conservative press and political class who are loath to call Mr. Obama what he is in the bluntest of terms: a liar and a fraud.  That he relies on his skin color to intimidate, either outright or by insinuation, those who oppose his radical agenda only adds to his audacity.  It is apparent that he has gotten away with his character flaws his entire life, aided and abetted by the sycophants around him, thus he is who he is and cannot change.
