Immigration policy shows Barack Obama is in 'full panic mode,' Rush Limbaugh says - POLITICO.com

Rush Limbaugh on Friday said the Obama administration’s new immigration policy is proof that the president is in “full panic mode” about the upcoming election.

“The regime today told the border agents: ‘If you catch young illegals, let ‘em go and grant ‘em work permits.’ No more deportation of illegal immigrants. They are to be given work permits and they can stay in the country,” Limbaugh said, according to a transcript of his show. “So what this is, is ‘Catch, Release, Vote.’”

President Obama triggered a political and legal firestorm on Friday when he ordered a rule change through the Department of Homeland Security that allows young illegal immigrants to stay in the U.S. and legally obtain work
permits. The policy was one the major components of the DREAM Act, which failed to clear Congress even under Democrat control.

The easing of the rule is aimed at illegals who were brought to the U.S. before they turned 16 years old and are currently younger than 30. The president says it’s unfair to to punish those young people for decisions their parents made and those young adults are already contributing to society.

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, isn’t buying any of that. The Republican lawmaker is a member of the House Judiciary Committee and says the greatest outrage in this move is Obama’s ignoring of the Constitution. King says the president
can’t just create new laws through executive orders because he’s frustrated that his agenda can’t get through Congress.

“This man has refused to enforce immigration law, and now he issues an executive order that essentially institutes an amnesty program by executive order and I think this needs to go to the courtroom and I’m prepared to go there,” King told WND.

King adds that he’s ready to take the president to court for acting in a manner that is clearly reserved for the legislative branch. He has experience in this type of legal fight.

As an Iowa state senator, King successfully sued then-Gov. Tom Vilsack over what King sees as the same type of executive branch power grab.

“What the president is doing is ordering that his executive branch carry out a policy that is in direct violation of constitutionally and congressionally passed federal law,” said King.

The congressman says he isn’t concerned that what the president did may be similar to a reform plan being assembled by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio because the legislative process is where these things need to be hashed out.

King says he will press the legal challenge to the president’s move regardless of what GOP leaders do.

Avoid J.C. Penney this Father's Day

Penney's is continuing its same-sex marriage promotion in advertisements. JCP's June catalog highlights "two dads" celebrating Father's Day.

The ad shows two men on the floor playing and hugging their two children at home. It reads, "First Pals - What makes Dad so cool? He's the swim coach, tent maker, best friend, bike fixer and hug giver - all rolled into one. Or two. Real-life dads Todd Koch and Cooper Smith with their children Claire and Mason."

It is obvious that JCP is promoting the normalization of homosexual marriage.

AFA encourages your family to avoid shopping at JCP at least through Father's Day.

Unlike the heady days in the Kennedy camp, when John pretended not to know that his dad was employing every dirty trick in the book to advance him to congressman and then the presidency, people are very aware of how politics works. We know that there are bedfellows that fall into line with candidates, who leave an ugly stain on the man they touch. We’re aware that many men have made bargains with the devil while seeking the office of President of the United States. We know all this, and just as many of us have come to resent the presence of those such as George Soros and their filthy money—and it is too, because they will do to anyone what rats would not do to one another, for the almighty buck—we will resent anyone that makes deals with the devil to take our country further down the pike.

Fortunately, for Mitt Romney, he doesn’t have to make deals with the devil, because he is running a race against time with the devil that inhabits the White House. It has been said that the Republicans are not concerned with winning the presidency, only with taking a majority in both houses of congress. The majority of conservatives see this attitude as both naïve and stupid. Taking power in the houses means little to a man that has written executive orders to get what he wants and done end-runs around Congress, going through the UN, at one point as if there was no legislative branch. What good is a majority when the president has become a self-appointed dictator?

The first thing that Romney must do is to choose a candidate that meets the qualifications to hold office should anything happen to the president. That means he must be eligible, and nothing less. The people are tired of the government elitist attitude. We’re sick to death of having our Constitution trampled upon and shredded before our faces. The second thing—almost as important as the first—is for Romney to choose a man the people trust and that’s not an easy task given the attitude toward the government in an atmosphere that leaves the majority distrustful of all government representation. If he chooses the wrong running mate, he may ensure that many voters will stay home on November 6^th.

The last two things he must do, is to run against Obama’s record. Although the Obama campaign is running dirty, the Romney campaign should use the last four years of failure against the man who seriously believes that he can talk his way around it. And, Romney needs to invest in a book. A very powerful book that includes a chapter entitled “The Low Road.” Strangely enough, the last chapter of the book lists the 6-most pivotal presidential elections in American history with a touch of advice that Romney would do well to heed.

A good businessman always knows his opponents weaknesses and uses them against him. The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House is full of the things that could lock down the election for Romney. All of Obama’s weaknesses are listed if only the reader pays attention to the words. It is a hope, wish, or a prayer, that Romney does what is best for this country and takes the right steps to defeat the devil while avoiding all the other men who would make offers for his soul.
