Israel Hayom | Google takes a high-tech look at Israel's ancient sites

Users will be able to go on virtual tours of Jerusalem's Old City and Tel Aviv's White City, among 132 historical sites from 18 countries • Other sites include England's Stonehenge, Italy's Pompeii archaeological digs and Japan's Kyoto temples. 

Google selected the Old City of Jerusalem and the White City of Tel Aviv to be featured on its new platform, the World Wonders Project, launched Thursday morning. The project is presented in six languages, including Hebrew, and is powered by the company's Street View technology.
